Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment and airless paint spraying systems to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings.
- Monitor the curing process of coated items to guarantee optimal finish quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in materials handling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process.
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial painting or auto painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, cranes, and machining equipment is a plus.
- Basic math skills are required for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
