Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes and be proficient in various techniques and tools. This role involves interpreting blueprints, operating machinery, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and materials required for projects.
• Operate a variety of machinery including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other power tools to fabricate metal components.
• Perform welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques to assemble metal structures.
• Execute pipe threading operations as needed for specific projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards during all fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong skills in welding, particularly FCAW, along with knowledge of pipe threading techniques.
• Experience using press brake machines and plasma cutting tools is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills are necessary for measuring materials accurately and calculating dimensions.
