Duties

  • Review work order and green sheet before job is started. Set up and calibrate inkjet printing machinery to ensure optimal color accuracy and image quality.
  • Monitor printing operations continuously, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain consistency and precision.
  • Perform routine maintenance on inkjet printers, including cleaning print heads and replacing consumables.
  • Collaborate with prepress teams to prepare digital files, ensuring proper layout design, typography, and color management.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to detect and correct defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain detailed records of print jobs, machine performance, and material usage for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Support the integration of new printing technologies such as CNC or flexo press systems to enhance production capabilities.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating inkjet printing equipment within a manufacturing or commercial print environment.
  • Strong knowledge of screen printing, flexo press operations, or related print processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with prepress workflows, layout design, typography, and color management using Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Understanding of quality control standards in print advertising and graphic design applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently and perform basic machining or CNC tasks when needed.
