Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flexo Printing Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in print production, color management, and quality control will ensure our products consistently exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate flexo printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and print quality throughout production runs
  • Prepare printing plates, inks, and substrates, adhering to prepress specifications and color management standards
  • Monitor print jobs closely, adjusting press settings as needed to maintain color accuracy, registration, and overall quality
  • Conduct routine inspections of printed materials for defects, inconsistencies, or color deviations, implementing corrective actions promptly
  • Collaborate with prepress teams to review layout design and ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Maintain detailed records of production parameters, quality checks, and maintenance activities
  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues on the flexo press and perform basic machining or CNC adjustments when necessary

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating flexo printing presses in a manufacturing or print shop environment, and experience using Mark Andy printing presses is a plus
  • 3 years of experience required
  • Strong knowledge of screen printing, prepress processes, and color management techniques
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and Adobe Creative Suite for file preparation and layout adjustments
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and print advertising standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, typography, and layout design specifications
  • Experience with forklift operation, machining, CNC equipment, or other manufacturing tools is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and consistency in print production
